Easter

Easter is a big deal around here. First the kids have to avoid the front room when they wake up and wait forever down stairs for Maggie to wake up around 7 am. Then the get to go one by one to find their hidden baskets by following Jelly Bean trails. Savannah is our biggest Easter basket anticipator. Oh, she talks about what will be in her basket for weeks before. This year did not dissapoint. Peeps and a pink kitty and candy! Heavenly.
Maggie got a pink baby doll stroller which every sibling needed a turn to push their new webkins around in. Maggie also helped pick up all the candy and eat it immediately.

Maddux was a huge fan of opening every plastic egg to collect candy. Spencer's candy dissapeared within days by this mischievous boy.
Cooper is loving holidays but is getting a bit too old to believe in a Magical Bunny. The excitement is there, but he gets that this is the day Christ rose from the grave and opened the door to eternal life. He is a smart kid. At Easter dinner with the Winegar family Cooper said the dinner prayer and perfectly thanked Heavenly Father for the saving sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Spence and I sure feel happy this boy gets it.

And what would Easter be without Jello eggs and insects by yours truely. Happy Easter
