Oh So Content

Look who turned 9 months! (a month and a half ago, whoops!) We finally got in to his Dr appointment. This baby boy is a man of his own. We keep expecting him to grow fast and big like Cooper did, but it looks like he may not. At 10 1/2 months Maddux is in the feather weight category of the 5th percentile: 18 pounds 1 oz. He is 25% in length, 28 1/2 inches. His head size is also 25%! What a small boy for us! Thanks Maddux, my back thanks you.



Maddux is in to every one's business. If you have something, he wants it. His favorite is eating paper, stuffed animals, trash....
He also learned how to throw a ball and play catch! I love how he cheers himself on as we cheer for him.
Maddux also will give you a high five if you are really lucky (so far Savannah and I have been the only recipients)
Maddux loves to drop objects off a high point and watch it fall. He then will dive off of what ever he is on to get what he dropped. I love this stage! He is so curious about cause and effect.
Maddux is crawling out on his hands to reach objects but still does not like to move his legs. I am secretly really happy to have him immobile still. Any one have a baby gate I can borrow? We will be needing several soon.
Our nosy boy is beginning to pull himself up to his knees to get higher. It is only a matter of time before he is standing on his own!
