Christ gave his life for me, that I may also live again. I am comforted by this gift of Resurrection, the power of the atonement, and eternal families. I am very humbled by these gifts, and take my responsibility seriously to use and prepare to receive these gifts. The Lord has sent me several tender mercies in the past month. I feel his love and watchful care over me.
My morning sickness ended 2 weeks early, just in time for me to prepare for our RS Super Saturday. Hallelujah!
Because of morning sickness I was VERY behind on my preparation for Super Saturday. 5 amazing friends and women volunteered their help, and dropped everything to serve me. I would not have made it without them. Their kindness touched my heart.
I got food poisoning which put me in bed for 3 days. Spence was able to stay home or come home early to take care of the kids and me. AND when I prayed for help, a friend called to chat, and volunteered to bring dinner. He is listening.
I was able to be the RS representative at a ward member's funeral when the rest of the presidency could not. (this is the 4th funeral in 2 months.) Once again, Spence was able to work from home so I could be gone the 4 hours. His flexible job is a huge blessing to me, our family, and our Presidency.
The kids got the stomach flu. Savannah got over it FAST, and Cooper actually did not throw up in his sleep all over himself like he normally does. He made it to the toilet at 3 in the morning. Now that is a miracle.
The Lord's kindness is never ending. I am thinking of His life and Sacrifice. What a wonderful gift.

Here you are in sickness and so willing to bring me dinner in my time of need. I have not forgotten the impact you have made on my life at a time when I just needed it. Apparently, Tim and I have a genetic predisposition to have kids with a heart condition. It's hard to take and harder to think about having more kids. I felt stronger though because of reading your blog from awhile ago. Thanks for buoying me up. Loves and I'm glad you're starting to feel better.
It is so amazing to look back at really bad moments and see blessings in them. I'm so glad that if life has to plain and simply be crappy sometimes God is there to comfort and strengthen us. Thanks for sharing!
Can you believe our little boys are growing up? We did a bowling party last year and it was great! No stress and a lot of fun.
