Thank you Wind Storm

December 1 2011 a large wind storm ripped through Davis County. We did not know we had suffered roof damage until our neighbor was on his roof in the spring hooking up his swamp cooler for summer. I feared it was too late to file an insurance claim but a good friend encourage me to try. After a few weeks of negotiating with the insurance company, getting a re inspection and consulting with an awesome brother in law John VanDerwerken, State Farm Insurance employee extraordinaire, we got a new roof paid for!

Spence and I debated over these 4 choices, and picked the dark one on the right. Then my neighbor John Wood came over the next morning to get his trash can off the street and told me he liked the lighter 2 tone better. So why not! He would be looking at our roof more than us.

It took 3 days which were hard and long noisy days keeping the kids inside and away from debris and nails. But it looks great and is water tight. Thanks AAA!
