My baby is 2 months old! He is now 11 lbs 10 oz, and 23 inches long (60th percentile for both). It seems so long ago he was born. Spence's brother Clark had their first baby, Finn, this week. Seeing a newborn again makes my baby seem so old!
This month Maddux started moving his tongue around a lot, like in the picture. He also is chewing on his fists. Every so often he will get his thumb to suck. I wonder if he will be a thumb sucker. He also has started talking to us, in aah's and ooh's and sighs. I love it when he talks back and forth with us. I love when my kids meet milestones. I am so proud of them, yet it is a little sad to think they are growing up!
Maddux has been a very calm and happy baby. He used to just chill on our bed gazing at the ceiling fan. Now he loves his mobile in his crib. He loves the little birdies flying above him. He also likes to hear and watch rattles. It is amazing how fast he is changing.
Maddux still has great hair. It has not fallen out, or rubbed off. We are just waiting for a crazy mullet. Every one still comments on all his hair. It is charming, he looks like a little man. A little man who needs a hair cut!

That's funny that you said "seeing a neworn again makes my baby seem so old." becasue that is what I thought when I saw Maddux today. It seems like it was so long ago that Oliver was as small as him.
Oh, and by the way, I LOVE his little-man-hair-that-needs-a-haircut look. SO CUTE!
Maddux HAS grown. He is so adorably cute! I wish pictures were 3d and I could pick him up and enjoy a snuggle!! He is really progressing. Enjoy for me today!!
Oh my gosh. I'm so in love with this baby. He just gets cuter every time I see him. I want to snuggle him immediately.
It is so fun, to watch them learn new things...meet milestones... grow and in general have fun and be happy. He is one handsome little guy!
He is so adorable and big now! I am so sad I'm not there to watch him grow!
Now you know what I have been going through watching all of you have babies and seeing how my baby doesn't seem so baby-ish anymore ... it's so weird.
