Tibble Fork Reservoir

You wouldn't think that a family day of sledding would be on the back side of a reservoir, but this icy steep hill in the middle of American Fork Canyon is where the Winegar family spent 3 exhausting hours.

An air mattress gives a smooth ride.
Savannah and Mia were little penguins going down the hill on their bellies.

The slope was too fast for sleds, so inner tubes were the main choice.

Maddux loved it!

Heidi is such a great friend who came along to ease my anxiety over 4 kids and a snow day. Maddux LOVED being pulled around on his sled by Heidi for a very long time.

Sledding has become a bit of a tradition with Spence's family. We went big this year and it was something to remember. Our sweet Maggie was bundled in a snow suit also, wrapped in a blanket and slept the whole time on a chair. What a good baby.

What a fun day! We try to enjoy the winter activities as much as possible and sledding is a big favorite around here.
