While I was out with the girls carbing up for the race, Spence took the kids for a barbeque at Bert and Judys, and then the Centerville fireworks. The plan was for Coop and Sav to spend the night at their home, and go to the Parade with Ty's family and Bert and Judy, but Coop was not ok with a cousin sleep over. Savy spent the night and had a great time. The next morning I left for the race with the girls, and Spence dropped Cooper off for the parade. The kids loved running to gather candy at the parade, and my race was so fun.
We came back to enjoy a great big breakfast at 11 followed by the best slip-n-slide and water fights. I was surprised that Maddux loved going down the hill with Spence.
Maggie loves her bucket of water, and so does Maddux. We use these buckets to play in our back yard when the kids are soo bored in the last hour before Spence gets home from work. I think we need a bigger blow up wading pool!
