Lego Land

Pop and Gram took our family to Lego Land! We love Lego's and rides. Cooper and Savy were so excited that they told their friends and teachers at school they were going. Anticipation!
The kids were instantly in a Lego shop wanting it all. Maggie loved the princess castle tower.
After walking the park to scope out rides and long lines Cooper and Savy went for the roller coaster while Pop and I took Maddux and Maggie to build Hero Factory figures.
Across the way was a duplo room. Maddux ran to every container loving it all.
Maggie and Pop built a square tower nearly as high as herself!
Maddux and I moved to the next room to build a Lego race car. We signed in to receive a set of wheels, built a rectangle then got in line to race.

Patience is not one of Maddux's virtues. I love his pouty face.
My turn! I was surprised that Maddux was competitive and wanted to win. We couldn't get his car to run straight so I went next door to enlist the pine wood derby master "Pop" to help with the car.
It was a crowded day at the park and the kids were sick with fevers and coughs from influenza. We settled on walking around to see everything and ate a good lunch with a kids buffet.
We liked the Star Wars Legos.
Maggie had a hard time picking her gift from Gram and Pop. She chose a Snow White kit. Maddux chose a  Hulk Hero Factory guy. Savy got a pink kitty in a purse and a key chain animal. Cooper got a Ninjago set.

Maggie was not feeling well and had a fever. She clung to "Mommy" most of the day.
Racing Lego cars was so fun Maddux and I made sure Cooper and Savy had a turn to race at the end of the day.

While they were racing cars Maddux was asleep in a stroller. He woke up fevering and congested, choked and threw up on himself, the stroller and the sidewalk. It was stinky hot dog lunch puke. Bert went for towels from the bathroom but Spence and I knew better. We abandoned our puke spot, told an employee and cleaned Maddux up with baby wipes.

We loved our trip to Lego Land. The kids were tired and sick which made being there seem like a poor decision, but we were still able to enjoy it. Maddux and Maggie asked to go home after the first hour which was ironically hilarious.
Thank you Pop and Gram for the great Memories.
