We were happy to open Christmas presents with Pop and Gram, Meg, Eric and Clara, then go to lunch at Ruby's Diner on the Oceanside Pier. It was a very windy day with a cold front coming off the ocean. But it was glorious to be on the water.
The walk to the end of the pier was long and cold but we were entertained by baby Brown Pelicans and spotting star fish on the pier pillars.
Aren't they cute!
Pop treated us to Shakes, burgers, chili fries, shrimp. Yum we were so full!
Maddux did end up falling asleep by the end of the meal as he had a fever.
Here are 5 brown pelicans! Savannah and Eric got close to this one. He eventually nipped at Eric. What pretty birds.
We love the Ocean and our Pop and Gram.
