Maddux is 4 months old! We cannot believe how fast time has gone. He is such a good baby and life is better with him in our family.
Maddux surprised us today. He looks bigger than he really is. Maybe it is because he is soft and rollie. Maddux weighs 13 lbs 7 oz (20% percentile). From head to toe: 24 3/4 inches long (40% percentile).
Maddux received a clean bill of health except for his noggin. His soft spot should be bigger than it is, and we will have it monitored to make sure his skull does not fuse together too soon. If it does, we get to do a very exciting surgery on his skull. But we will pass that bridge if we get there. I guess he would not be our baby if there was not some type of drama.
Maddux at 4 months old:
He loves to HUM and make guttural sounds. Up until now we called him our mute baby because he has been so quiet!
He is SLEEPING 8-12 hours straight at night.
He always wakes up SMILING, ready to stretch.
He never cries. He will just ROAR at you to get your attention or whine. Very acceptable communication skills!
He loves to sit in his BUMBO and watch Mom cook.
He chews on his HANDS and stares at his FIST in the air.
His EYES are still a mystery. We think they will end up hazel.
He is starting to get floppy EARS like Cooper.
He GIGGLES if you tease him or smoosh his cheeks together in to fish lips.
He loves to SIT on Mom's lap and stare at the lap top.
His shirt is always soaked through from DROOL, but there is not sign of teeth.
If you lay him on his back he will try to SIT UP. He needs to have a full view of all the activities around him.
He will suck his THUMB to stay asleep, but likes to fall asleep with a nuk BINKI.
Maddux loves to watch his siblings, and they think he is so funny!
We love you Maddux so much. We cannot believe how fun you are and how easily you have fit in to our family. You are the cutest thing, with the craziest head of hair. We love you, our happy boy.

One of Adam's best friends had to have the skull surgery as a baby. I hope you don't have to go through that. Maddux sure is a cute little boy.

My brother aaron had to have that surgery. I hope maddux doesn't need it but even if he does I know you and your family will handle it well. You guys are awesome parents and I love reading about your little family.

I can't believe he and Jaisey are about the same in weight and height. I'm so glad he's healthy and I hope his skull is okay. Surgery on kids is never fun and I know it well. It's fun to see that our kids are doing the same things.
