Spence and I met 10 years ago today! We were set up on a blind date by my sister and her husband. They invited both of us over for dinner at their home. No surprise, Spence got lost and was almost an hour late. (it was a new development area so I will give him a pass on it) It was a good and awkward first date.
First impressions:
Julie: He had the nicest bum with sexy jeans
Spence: She was totally hot, with the biggest blue eyes
Spence called me 3 days later to go out again and that was it! We were hooked on each other. We were so cute in love that we could not let a day go by without talking. Spence lived in Salt Lake City, and I was 45 minutes away in Provo. We spent every spare minute together. We dated for 1 year before we got engaged. That was so many miles on our cars, that my parents made me trade cars with a younger sibling that got better gas mileage!

I have so many bazaar, fun, crazy, lovely memories of dating Spence. It was all worth it. Look at us now! Still stupid crazy in love.

Weird that I totally remember those board shorts. Plus whenever I think of you back then, I ALWAYS picture you in overalls and a white top. I am loving all these nostalgic pictures. You guys are cute together.

I agree with Jaime and Liss! I thought the same thing! Those clothes DO bring back memories. I remember the first time I drove down to Provo and hung out with you two after you'd started dating. Watching you interact, I thought you guys were made for each other. You seemed like such a natural match, perfectly blended personalities. It seemed like you'd been together so much longer. Congrats on 10 years! I love you guys!
