What I love about Spring
Sandals on the kids
Getting out the summer toys
Friends
Picnics in the backyard (Cooper's favorite. He may just be a romantic)
The feeling of the sun's heat and all the color it brings
Leaving open the sliding glass door and not worrying about bugs or the heat
Working in the yard, I love yard work, mainly because of the immediate visual accomplishment
The light which pours in to the house
The excitement
Tired kids at night
Spring brings a unique sound. When you are lying on the beach in the heat, and you close your eyes there are so many sounds. The tide of crashing waves, the people, seagulls, your heartbeat. And when you get really relaxed it turns in to a peaceful lulling hum. That is what spring is like to me. The birds, the wind, the kids, the warmth. It all comes together, giving me a joyous contentment.
Hooray for not being obsessed with house work, and enjoying something new!

Yeah Spring! Nuff said.
What a great post! I needed some reminders why spring is so great. All I've been thinking about are allergies! I love how you notice and appreciate the little things in life. You inspire me to be more observant and appreciative of these things.
I seriously wonder if there was a mom alive that didn't take advantage of today. Our little clan is crisped because I didn't do the sunscreen thing today. We should do a park thing on the next sunny day. (Which will be in a week or so, seriously!)
Oh I love the weather, it has been so nice.YAY for spring.
