Monday we showed the kids the sea lions at La Jolla. They loved walking on the sea wall, watching the waves crash and spray them.
Then we picnicked at Mission Bay
Of course we explored the playground

took a walk with the kids on bikes and watched the wind surfers. We could not believe the wind! Cooper struggled to stay on his bike, it was so strong.

The day was not without incident, but we managed to make it an adventure for the kids and a walk down memory lane for me. Next time we will have to remember a kite.
