Diamond Fork

Spence has served in the Young Men's organization for over 4 years. He has been on numerous camp-outs. I never really knew what a sacrifice it was for him or how dedicated he has been until I saw pictures from this latest camp. Spence's calling changed recently from working with the Deacons to now the Teachers. The boys are a bit older and the camp-outs are different.

Todd, Sean, Mike, Spence, Jason, Caleb, Matt, Spencer, Mitchell and Angie

They camped in snowy freezing conditions.

They hiked 2 1/2 miles up to Hot Springs.

The hot and cold pools were exciting. Everyone enjoyed this adventure. I cannot imagine doing this! Firstly, I can only imagine doing it with our kids tagging along because I have Mom brain. But to Camp and Hike and Swim in the snow is terrifying to me because of the cold. My feet would have froze.  I am grateful that Spence and the leaders he serves with are willing and happy to provide experiences like this for the YM.
