This is the Place Heritage Park has the best Ice Cream cones. I think we went through a tall stack of napkins, but they were great on a hot day. The kids got to make an Arrowhead necklack, ride the ponies, pet lambs, rabbits, and watch a horse be shoed. Thanks Wendy for taking us!
We also saw our first snake in the wild. We were cutting across the grass, and Cooper looked down by his feet and curiously declaired, "Hey look, it's a snake." Wendy and I freaked out and hearded the kids away. It turned out to only be a gartner snake, which looks just like a rattlesnake. Creepy, I had the creepy chills for the rest of the day. I hate snakes.
