July 3rd

Who thought July 3rd could be just as fun as the 4th? I am beginning to think the Staycation is the way to go with a baby.

We started out the day with a run/walk/bike/ride at Farmington Creek Trail, and the Lagoon Trail. Riding bikes is Cooper's favorite.

Then Barbecued, napped, and headed to the Centerville Children's Bike Parade. Our friends the Sommers invited us. We are so glad to know that this is a yearly activity. It was amazing to see hundreds of families walking the parade route all decorated in Red White and Blue. I loved our kids decorated bikes. There was a small town feel to the Festival. I felt like we were in the movie Pollyanna.

Notice Pinkie Pie pony on Savy's bike, with her newest kitty, Rascal in her red purse.

Cooper was ready to race fast down hill.

What a cool Ride, Mr President.

The parade ended with Pace Bars. The kids played at Founders park and I got to visit with my fun friend Emily. What is better than that!

Sparklers and flower blossoms were fun as the sun was setting. Maddux did not know what to think about the flower blossoms spinning and glowing.

We loved our Monster Mania Ice Cream Pizza. Then Spence took Cooper to the Centerville Firework show. On the way home Cooper recounted the day's events to Spence ending in, "This has been the best day ever." I agree.
Savannah was equally happy. Tonight she prayed, "Thankful that Daddy and Cooper got to go to the Centerville Fireworks and that they were awesome."
